John Davis, founder of John Davis Design Group is a native of Colorado Springs.  With a substantial amount of historical knowledge about Colorado John has a passion for designing new projects for an ever changing landscape, while remembering and highlighting the location's history. He was a partner in the firm of DCA Architects from 1998 until 2005. He changed the name of the firm to John Davis Design Group in May 2005. John Davis Design Group is headquartered in Colorado Springs with satellite offices in Almont, Colorado & Crested Butte, Colorado.

John's building journey began when he was 13 years old working at his father's construction company, Davis & Davis Construction Company. He was charged with miscellaneous building duties throughout the years including but not limited to concrete work, framing, dry wall duties, and trenching. John loved the building process and decided to pursue a career in architecture. His journey has blessed him with more than 40 years in project management and architectural design, and he has over 50 years of general building knowledge. John's understanding of the ever-changing Pikes Peak Regional Building Department code is unparalleled in his industry.
